LAIeF turns 40 and indulges in a grand party: a vibrant and emotionally charged atmosphere has indeed enveloped Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, in Varedo (MB), last Saturday, June 22, 2024 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of LAIeF, the Italian company leader in manufacturing machinery for industrial ice cream production.
The cheerful and informal evening was a true dive into the past and a celebration of the future, bringing together all those who have made this company great over the years.
The villa, with its historic charm, was the perfect stage for an event attended by numerous guests: the mayor of Varedo, Filippo Vergani, all current employees of whom many can be described as historical, commercial agents in the United States and some Italian customers, as well as key employees of LAIeF, suppliers and their families.
And, speaking of families in attendance, the two partners of the company deserve an honourable mention: the Scalzo and Grigoli families with their respective founders, Antonio Scalzo (who sadly passed away two and a half years ago but remains ever-present in everyone’s hearts) and Franco Grigoli.
And then there was LAIeF 2.0, with its second generation of partners:
A real family reunion among families where a strong sense of belonging and unity was palpable.
The evening was light-hearted: no official speeches, no bombastic announcements, just lots of heartfelt thanks and moments of conviviality. Amidst toasts and laughter, music provided the soundtrack, creating a festive atmosphere that engaged everyone present. The villa was enlivened by a positive energy, a testament to the passion and commitment that have distinguished LAIeF over these 40 years.
A nice touch of irony was not to be missed: all guests were given a souvenir hat, a nice keepsake to remember this special evening and proudly celebrate the company’s 40-years of history. A small gesture that was able to bring a smile and create additional bond among the participants.
