10 March 2025

LAIeF expands its presence in the global market with its industrial ice cream machinery, making a mark at the BAPA Foodpro Expo in Bangladesh and the Feria del Helado in Mexico.

February proved to be a key period for LAIeF, as the company strengthened its international presence by participating in two of the most important trade fairs in the industry: the BAPA Foodpro International Expo in Bangladesh and the Feria Internacional del Helado y la Paleta in Mexico. These two strategic events, held on different continents, provided the company with an opportunity to reinforce its global positioning and showcase its latest innovations in industrial ice cream production machinery.

BAPA Foodpro International Expo: the heart of the Asian Food Industry

Bapa Foodpro Expo, Bangladesh

From February 25 to 27, Dhaka hosted the BAPA Foodpro International Expo, a landmark event for the F&B industry in the Asian market. The trade fair attracted companies from all over the world, eager to present innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies to meet the needs of a continuously expanding sector.

One of the major strengths of the BAPA Foodpro Expo was its ability to attract a highly specialized audience, including manufacturers, distributors, R&D experts, and key decision-makers in the food industry.  The event provided a dynamic and stimulating environment where the latest trends in food safety, industrial automation, and sustainability were showcased. Bangladesh is progressing towards becoming a smart nation after achieving its goal of digital transformation. The Smart Bangladesh Vision 2041 is not just about an advanced future but aims to establish a knowledge-driven and innovative economy.

This vision also embraces sustainability, an increasingly important focus for participants, exhibitors, and the industry as a whole.  The BAPA Foodopro Expo conducted the event responsibly by inspiring sustainable development in food processing and packaging sectors in their home country as well, offering numerous opportunities to improve environmental and social impact.

For us at LAIeF, attending this trade fair meant much more than simply exhibiting our industrial ice cream production machinery. It was an opportunity to connect with new partners, gain deeper insights into the Asian market’s needs, and reaffirm our ability to provide customized, efficient, and sustainable solutions. Asia represents a strategic growth area, with an increasing demand for high-quality products and advanced technologies that optimize industrial production.

In particular, the industrial ice cream machinery sector is experiencing significant growth in the region, driven by the rising demand for dairy and confectionery products. LAIeF had the opportunity to present its advanced technologies, designed to enhance production efficiency and ensure high-quality standards, meeting the needs of an evolving industry.

Feria Internacional del Helado y la Paleta: the heart of ice cream in Latin America

Feria Internacional del Helado y la Paleta, Messico

Just a few days later, from February 27 to March 1, LAIeF made its debut at the Feria Internacional del Helado y la Paleta in Guadalajara, one of the most anticipated events for industry professionals in Latin America. This edition held special significance as it marked the 20th anniversary of the fair, featuring a packed schedule of events, workshops, and live demonstrations, all focused on the latest trends in ice cream and popsicles.

The fair stands out as the largest specialized event for ice cream and popsicles in Latin America, attracting manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and entrepreneurs in the sector. With a strong emphasis on innovations in ingredients, technology, and equipment, the Feria Internacional del Helado y la Paleta serves as a key reference point for industry professionals looking to stay ahead of market developments.

One of its most fascinating aspects is the blend of tradition and innovation: while traditional recipes and authentic production techniques are celebrated, cutting-edge technological solutions are also showcased to optimize production processes and enhance the quality of the final product.

The paleta, in fact, is more than just a popsicle—it is a traditional Mexican frozen treat that carries this distinctive name.  To honor this heritage, the fair hosted the World Championship of Mexican Paletas, complete with official regulations and a set of specific products to be created.

For us at LAIeF, being present in Mexico was an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our connections with the Latin American market, where industrial ice cream production is experiencing significant growth. The company was able to showcase its solutions, designed to ensure quality, efficiency and customization for local manufacturers. The growing demand for innovative equipment in the ice cream industry across Latin America confirms the potential for expansion in this region, and LAIeF has positioned itself as the ideal partner for businesses looking to invest in state-of-the-art technologies.

A company with a growing global presence in the industrial ice cream market

Participating in these two events highlights the broad reach of LAIeF’s expansion in the global industrial ice cream market. Now active across all continents, the company continues to grow, bringing innovation and reliability to the world’s most dynamic markets. The goal remains clear: to support companies in the industry with cutting-edge technologies capable of meeting the needs of the global industrial ice cream market and anticipating the challenges of the future.
