Indian Ice-cream Expo 2023 (IICE 2023)

A new location for the eleventh edition of what is now considered the most important trade fair for the ice cream sector in the whole of South Asia.
The Indian Ice-cream Expo 2023 (or IICE 2023) will in fact take place in Calcutta (India) from 13 to 15 September. This three-day event is co-organised by the Indian Ice Cream Manufacturers Association (IICMA) and AIM Events.
The IICE, the only B2B fair in South Asia, is the ideal meeting point for hundreds of ice cream producers who flock here from around the globe to exchange ideas and opinions on the topic of artisan ice cream production. Producers and other industries involved in the sector meet once again to network and create new business opportunities.
For anyone who doesn’t know, B2B stands for “business-to-business” and is used to described business transactions between industrial, trading and service companies.
The Indian Ice-cream Expo (IICE) has for several years already been considered one of the world’s most important events in the ice cream sector. The eleventh edition will take place in Calcutta, west Bengala, India. There will be over 250 booths at the event with exhibitors coming from all parts of the globe, and over 8,000 visitors from the whole of South Asia and the surrounding countries.
The ICCE has seen a progressive annual growth rate of 100% and continues to pursue its aim of providing the best possible service to its customers. All the main players involved in the ice cream industry will be present at the fair: from producers to companies that deal with freezing machines, packaging equipment and components, packaging machines and materials, food ingredient companies, cold chain companies, in particular cold stores and freezers, and consultancy services.
As usual, also this year the official website of the Indian Ice-cream Expo 2023 features the welcome message of the President of IICMA, Sudhir Shah, who wishes for this 11th edition of the IICE a growth in annual ice-cream consumption not only for the whole of East India, and invites the entire global ice-cream industry and related sectors to the fair wishing the event all the success it deserves.
And, yet again, we from LAIeF will also be present at this year’s edition of the trade fair, as we supply machinery for the most important and the largest producers of ice cream in India, such as Unilever, Dinshaw, Rollick, and many more.
